Filipino Cultural Celebration June 13

The Filipino-American Cultural Organization (FACO) and the Oceanside Public Library are hosting the 25th Annual Filipino Cultural Celebration on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The event will take place in the Oceanside Civic Center Plaza and on Pier View Way, downtown in the heart of the Oceanside Cultural Arts District, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. Event admission is free and open to the public.

The theme of this year's event is "FACO @ 50: The Golden Years of Cultural Legacy and Resilience!" and will offer an afternoon full of Philippine folk dancing and music, colorful costumes, special performances from local Filipino-American talents, children's art, craft activities, and delicious Filipino cuisine. There will be a variety of vendors offering products and services. Guests will be delighted by the FACO Cultural Dance Group which will perform dances from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao Islands. Scholarships will be awarded to deserving Filipino-American high school seniors in North San Diego County and in the Philippines. A fashion show will highlight the evolution of Filipiniana Culture, worn by all ages.

FACO is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1976. Its Mission is to promote, preserve and promulgate its cultural heritage through education, and cultural and charitable activities. The Friends of the Oceanside Public Library, Oceanside Public Library, Navy Federal Credit Union, Postal Annex, and Mission Asian Market & Cafe help to sponsor this popular annual cultural celebration.
