On 19 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a bilateral discussion with H.E. Mr. Sugiono, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, on the sidelines of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat at the Langkawi International Convention Centre, Malaysia.
Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations, including through exchange of high-level visits, especially on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Indonesia in 2025. They also reaffirmed commitment to deepening Thailand-Indonesia cooperation in all aspects.
