Ruger Introduces PC Carbine, 10/22 and Ruger American Rifle Generation II Short-Barreled Rifles

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is excited to offer short-barreled rifle ("SBR") versions of the PC Carbine™, 10/22® and Ruger American® Rifle Generation II.

These new SBR variants deliver the feature-rich, proven performance of renowned Ruger platforms in compact, well-balanced designs that remain easy to handle - even when equipped with a suppressor - while preserving Ruger's hallmarks of precision and reliability.

The PC Carbine SBR features a black synthetic chassis, a black Magpul® stock adjustable for length-of-pull, and an aluminum free-float handguard with a removable M-LOK® hand stop - all combining to deliver superior control and a customizable fit for any shooter. Its cold hammer-forged, 6.5-inch barrel is threaded 1/2"-28 and includes a thread protector. This model ships with the SR-Series™/Security-9® pistol magazine well installed, along with one 17-round SR-Series or Security-9 9mm magazine, and includes an additional magazine well that accepts most double-stack Glock®-pattern magazines.

The two 10/22 SBR models each feature a reversible folding stock with adjustable length of pull, BX-Trigger®, match bolt release and 1/2"-28 threaded cold hammer-forged barrel. Model 33000 features an 8-inch alloy steel barrel and a receiver with an integrated rear cleaning port for easy maintenance. Model 33001 is a Takedown rifle equipped with a 10-inch barrel tensioned inside an aluminum alloy sleeve for enhanced rigidity and accuracy.

The Ruger American Gen II SBR is in the Patrol configuration and features a black splatter stock that provides an excellent grip without being too sharp or abrasive. The bull contour, cold hammer-forged 12.5-inch barrel is threaded 5/8"-24 and includes a thread protector. This 338 ARC caliber model ships with one 5-round AR-style magazine, with additional calibers available soon.

Built with premium materials, refined controls, and streamlined profiles, each SBR reflects our commitment to reliability, durability and thoughtful design.
