One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Route 16 (SR-16), SR-26, SR-49, and SR-88 in Amador County next week.

State Route 16

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between Greilich Road and SR-124 for electrical work beginning Sunday, July 19, through Friday, July 24, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, one-way traffic control at SR-49 for electrical work beginning Sunday, July 19, through Friday, July 24, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control between SR-49 and SR-124 for electrical work beginning Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 26

  • One-way traffic control at Rocky Lane for utility work on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control between Laverone Street and one mile north of Laverone Street in Plymouth for electrical work beginning Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Main Street and one mile north of Main Street in Plymouth for tree work beginning Tuesday, July 21, through Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Electra Road to Scottsville Boulevard for tree work beginning Tuesday, July 21, through Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 88

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between SR-104 and Meadowridge Road for electrical work beginning Sunday, July 19, through Friday, July 24, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Silver Drive and Shake Ridge Road for drainage work beginning Monday, July 20, through Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • Moving, alternating lane closures between Road 8N37 and Kays Road for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday, July 20, through Wednesday, July 22, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
  • Moving, alternating lane closures between Road 8N37 and Shake Ridge Road for pavement marker replacement on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at the 7,000-foot elevation marker for electrical work beginning Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Matson Drive and the start of the passing lane for tree work beginning Tuesday, July 21, through Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Mud Lake Road and Plasse Road for drainage work on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
