Magaziner Statement on Passing of Former Massachusetts Representative Barney Frank

WARWICK, RI - Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) released the following statement on the passing of former Massachusetts Representative Barney Frank:

"Barney Frank leaves a tremendous legacy as a champion for the working class, the LGBTQ+ community, and the southeast New England region.

His landmark work on financial reform helped save our country from economic ruin. Even in retirement he would often visit the House to share with us his sharp insights and wisdom on issues of the day. I mourn alongside his family and all those across New England who feel the weight of this loss."
