Reimagined forum brings together Caribbean hospitality and tourism stakeholders for commercially focused dialogue and a shared industry roadmap
April 15, 2026FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - April 15, 2026 - The www.caribbeanhotelandtourism.com. (CHTA) today announced details for the www.CaribbeanTravelForum 2026 , a reimagined working session designed to advance commercial alignment across the region's hospitality and tourism industry. The Forum will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa in Antigua & Barbuda, immediately preceding the opening of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace.
Departing from the traditional conference model, the Caribbean Travel Forum 2026 introduces a new, action-oriented format structured as a facilitated working session. The three-hour event will bring together a curated mix of public and private sector stakeholders to engage in structured, data-informed dialogue focused on the commercial realities shaping Caribbean hospitality and tourism.
The Caribbean Travel Forum is evolving to better reflect the realities of our industry, said Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association President Sanovnik Destang. We are creating a space for more meaningful dialogue around the commercial challenges impacting Caribbean hospitality and tourism, bringing together stakeholders to identify practical approaches and strengthen alignment across the region. This is about ensuring that our conversations are relevant, focused, and ultimately more impactful
Participants will engage in structured working group discussions focused on key industry challenges, supported by a pre-event Commercial Intelligence Briefing and data-driven insights presented at the start of the session. The outcome will be consolidated into a Caribbean Hospitality & Tourism Commercial Insights & Roadmap, outlining key priorities, recommended approaches, and opportunities for industry collaboration.
Participation is curated to include professionals directly involved in commercial strategy, operations, and market development across Caribbean hospitality and tourism. Roles represented will include hotel owners, general managers, directors of sales, marketing and revenue management, tourism board representatives, airlines and tour operator partners, and selected solution providers.
