Muskingum University is taking a major step forward in supporting its student-athletes with the launch of a dedicated strength and conditioning program. Leading this initiative is Adam Biehl, who recently joined Muskingum as the University's first Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Adam will oversee all areas of the program, from designing sport-specific training plans to creating strategies focused on injury prevention and recovery. His role also emphasizes collaboration; working closely with coaches, athletic trainers, and student-athletes to ensure every team has the resources they need to succeed.
For Muskingum athletes, this program means more than time in the weight room. Having a coach who is fully focused on strength and conditioning provides an opportunity to train with a purpose, stay healthier over the course of a season, and maximize performance in competition.
While the program's primary focus is athletics, its impact has the potential to reach the larger campus community. A stronger emphasis on wellness and fitness benefits not only Muskingum's teams but also contributes to building a culture of health and resilience across campus.
With Adam's leadership, Muskingum is investing in the long-term success of its athletic programs and its students. The new strength and conditioning program is set to play a vital role in shaping the future of Muskie athletics, helping athletes train smarter, compete harder, and represent Muskingum with pride.
