Med Center Health Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is proud to announce its partnership with Greenwood High School and Warren East High School as the provider of athletic training and sports medicine services, effective July 1, 2026. The addition of these two high schools expands Med Center Health's athletic training and sports medicine coverage to 10 high schools across Southcentral Kentucky.
Student athletes at Greenwood and Warren East High Schools now have access to Med Center Health's collaborative team of sports medicine specialists, including fellowship-trained physicians, on-site athletic trainers, and physical therapists. Students will also have access to various specialists with Med Center Health. Toryn Cornell, MS, ATC, will continue to provide athletic training to student-athletes at Greenwood High School, and Mason Day, MS, ATC, will now provide athletic training at Warren East High School.
"We're very excited to add Greenwood High School and Warren East High School to the largest sports outreach program in Southcentral Kentucky," said Jase Pinerola, Vice President of Physical Rehabilitation at Med Center Health. "We have a comprehensive team consisting of sports medicine physicians, athletic trainers, and therapists that can provide a high level of collaboration, expertise, and convenience to get these athletes back to play quickly and safely."
