CTIA Statement on Eliminating Barriers to Wireless Deployments

"CTIA applauds Chairman Carr for his leadership and the FCC for its action today, which seeks to build on prior siting reforms to speed the build out of wireless networks. Setting common sense guardrails for permitting reviews will enable wireless providers to more efficiently build and upgrade essential network assets, which means faster, more reliable service for consumers, especially in unserved and underserved areas. We look forward to working with the Commission to move quickly on this initiative, which will foster investment, drive innovation and help meet surging consumer demand for everything wireless."
