Meeting of the Council for Cossack Affairs

The meeting's agenda included a review of the Council's performance in 2025, as well as efforts to fulfil the Russian Federation's state policy for Russian Cossacks affairs.

Ataman of the Russian Cossack Society Vitaly Kuznetsov, Deputy Chair of the State Duma Committee for Ethnic Affairs Nikolai Doluda, Dirst Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Bugayev, Director of the Foreign Ministry's Department for Relations with the Subjects of the Federation, Parliament and Public Associations Igor Kapyrin made presentations during the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by Head of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Sergei Menyailo, Chair of the State Duma Committee for Ecology, Natural Resources and Environment Protection Dmitry Kobylkin, Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Grigory Gurov, Chairman of the Sinodal Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church for Cooperation with Cossacks Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk, as well as deputies of the presidential plenipotentiary envoys to federal districts, representatives of federal and regional government agencies, atamans of military Cossack societies and national Cossack associations, clerics of the Russian Orthodox Church, and others.

The meeting resulted in the adoption of corresponding decisions.
