Find Animal Services at Jacksonville Pet Adoption Festival!

Marion County Animal Services will join animal welfare organizations from across our region at the upcoming Jacksonville Pet Adoption Festival, hosted by the Jacksonville Humane Society. The event will take place Saturday, Oct. 25, and Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Prime Osborn Convention Center in Jacksonville.

This two-day event will be one of the largest adoption events in northeastern Florida, bringing together shelters and rescue groups with the shared goal of finding loving homes for hundreds of cats and dogs. Before adoptions are finalized, all pets will be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations. All adoption fees will be waived; some exclusions may apply.

"Coming out of the summer months, shelters are operating over capacity with lots of great pets looking to become a part of your family," said Lawrence Nicolas, Chief Executive Officer of the Jacksonville Humane Society. "By joining forces with our friends from across the region, we are hoping to not only empty our shelters but fill local families with the unconditional love that a pet brings."

"We're excited to partner with the Jacksonville Humane Society and other regional organizations for another multi-agency adoption event," said Marion County Animal Services Director Kyra Lynch. "Together, we're creating more opportunities for families to find their perfect match and building a more compassionate future for animals and their people."
