ASPPH looks forward to engaging with our members and other public health professionals at the American Public Health Association's (APHA) 2025 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, November 2-5. The Academic and Practice Linkages in Public Health (APLPH) Caucus, sponsored by ASPPH in partnership with the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) and the Public Health Foundation (PHF), will host a series of sessions advancing collaboration between academic and practice-based public health.
This year, the APLPH Caucus is partnering with the American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian Caucus on a presentation and panel discussion titled Transforming Public Health through Indigenous-Led Scholarship and Practice.
The ASPPH Center for Public Health Workforce Development will feature its work through presentations led by Dr. Maureen Lichtveld, Dean of the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health, and ASPPH staff. Sessions will highlight the Center's national leadership in strengthening the public health workforce, with a focus on innovation in leadership development, data science, and applied learning and training programs.
Attendees are also invited to Conversations and Coffee with the APLPH Caucus on Monday, November 3, from 7:00-8:00 AM ET.
For questions regarding the Caucus, please contact Kaitlin Tager, Director of Program Administration, at [email protected].
