Waverly, IA - The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently held three ribbon cuttings in Waverly, presenting three new businesses with First Dollar Awards and one existing business with a Progress Award.

The Ambassadors met with Co-Owner Gina Blean and the Unified Therapy team and held a ribbon cutting and presented them with a First Dollar Award to celebrate the opening of Unified Therapy Services in Waverly, located at 217 E Bremer Ave. Unified Therapy Services offers specialized therapeutic support designed to help individuals and families improve communication, development, and overall quality of life. Unified Therapy Services acquired Northern Iowa Therapy and continues to operate with the same trusted team, ensuring continuity of care for families in the area. The new Waverly location expands access to important therapy services within the community, providing a welcoming environment where clients can receive personalized care from a dedicated team of professionals. The opening of Unified Therapy Services represents a valuable addition to Waverly's network of health and wellness resources.

The Ambassadors met with Dr. Nate Woeste, O.D. and Dr. Bridget Steere-Bollman O.D. to hold a ribbon cutting and Progress Award presentation in celebration of Pollastrini & Bollman Eye Care 's new location, located at 1500 10th Ave. SW. The updated space allows the team to continue providing comprehensive eye care services in an enhanced and welcoming environment for patients. Pollastrini & Bollman Eye Care offers a range of vision services, including routine eye exams, diagnostic care, and a wide selection of eyewear, helping individuals and families maintain healthy vision. The new location reflects the practice's continued growth and commitment to delivering high quality care to the Waverly community.

The Ambassadors met with Dr. Jamie Mallen, Dr. Andrew Moeller and the Avenue Veterinary team to celebrate the merger of Avenue of the Saints Animal Hospital and Waverly Veterinary Clinic. The two clinics are now united under the name Avenue Veterinary Clinic, located at 1504 4th St. SW. The occasion was marked with a ribbon cutting and First Dollar Award presentation to recognize this exciting new chapter. By bringing the two practices together, Avenue Veterinary Clinic is able to expand services and resources while continuing to provide compassionate, high-quality care for pets and the families who love them. The newly unified team looks forward to building on the strong reputation of both clinics while continuing to serve the Waverly community with trusted veterinary care.

The Ambassadors met with owner Joshua Geer to present a First Dollar Award in celebration of the opening of Geer Plumbing, welcoming the business to the Waverly community. Geer Plumbing provides professional plumbing services for residential and commercial customers, offering reliable solutions for installation, maintenance, and repair needs. With a focus on quality workmanship and dependable service, Joshua is committed to helping local homeowners and businesses keep their plumbing systems running smoothly.
