State Route 4 - Ramp Closures
One-Way Traffic Control

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on State Route 4 for maintenance. Work will occur as follows:

  • One-way traffic control between Escalon Bellota Road and Little John Creek for tree work beginning Tuesday, December 9, through Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Interstate 5 - Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Sr-120 To Sacramento County Line

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Monday, December 8, through Saturday, December 13, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, alternating full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Monday, December 8, through Saturday, December 13, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 99 - Lane Closures
Overnight Full Highway Closures In Manteca

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full closure of the on-ramp from Wilson Way to northbound SR-99 for bridge work beginning Monday, December 8, through Saturday, December 13, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Long-term full closure of the Calaveras River/Frontage Road Overcrossing of SR-99 due to bridge repair work. The estimated completion date is late December 2025. Please seek an alternate route.
  • Overnight closure of the #1 (right) and #2 and #3 (center) lanes of northbound SR-99 from Cherokee Road to Wilson Way for bridge work beginning Monday, December 8, through Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 205 - Lane Closures
Overnight Connector Ramp Closures In Manteca

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform lane closures on State Route 205 (SR-205) for maintenance work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Moving, alternating lane closures between the California Aqueduct and I-5 for a sweeping operation beginning Monday, December 8, through Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
