WYDOT closing westbound Wamsutter off-ramp for paving on Aug. 18th

WAMSUTTER, Wyo. The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) will be closing the westbound Interstate 80 off-ramp at Exit 173 in Wamsutter on Tuesday, August 18th, for roadway repairs. Maintenance crews will be paving damaged sections where the ramp meets the crossroad. Work will occur during daylight hours and is expected to wrap up the same day.

Westbound drivers heading to Wamsutter can detour by taking Exit 170, looping back onto eastbound I-80, and exiting at Wamsutter via Exit 173.

The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change. WYDOT is committed to providing the public with update information as work progresses. WYDOT would like to remind drivers to drive safely, put their phone down and obey all roadside signs and closures.
