Amador County

Highway Lane Closures
State Routes 49, 88, 104 & 124

Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-88, SR-104 and SR-124 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows.

State Route 49

  • Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work through Friday, November 8, 2024.

State Route 88

  • One-way traffic control from Raven Road to Carson Drive for drainage work beginning Sunday, October 20, 2024, through Friday, October 25, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 104

  • One-way traffic control from Preston School to Foothill Boulevard for striping work beginning Sunday, October 20, 2024, through Friday, October 25, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 124

  • One-way traffic control from SR-88 to SR-104 for striping work beginning Sunday, October 20, 2024, through Friday, October 25, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
