Save a life TOMORROW! Donate blood at the SAC!
The Office of Student Success will be hosting a Blood Drive in the SAC Dining Hall TOMORROW, Thursday, February 26, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. Make your appointment today and help save lives! Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are strongly encouraged.
There is a constant need for new donors to meet the demand for lifesaving transfusions. Whether you're donating for the first time or it's been a while, your contribution can make a world of difference to patients in need. Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion, and it's volunteer donors like you who make it possible. Your donation brings hope to hospital patients and their loved ones. Be the lifeline someone desperately needs.
Wondering if you can give blood? Most of the population is eligible, but less than 3% donate. Recent FDA changes to eligibility guidance, including the Individual Donor Assessment and European travel, may mean those once deferred can give. Learn more: vitalant.org/eligibility
