Trick or Treat at City Center offers spook-tacular fun on Oct. 24

Families are invited to gather for an evening of fang-tastic fun as the City of North Port presents Trick or Treat at City Center, presented by Suncoast Credit Union. The annual event will take place Friday, Oct. 24, beginning at 5 p.m. at the George Mullen Activity Center and winding through the City Center Front Green, 4970 City Hall Blvd.

The celebration offers a safe and welcoming environment where children can trick-or-treat at creatively decorated booths hosted by City departments and community Pumpkin Trail Partners. Each booth will feature imaginative Halloween themes ranging from ghostly spirits to beloved characters, creating memorable experiences for all ages.

For attendees who prefer a more low-key experience, we are offering a low-sensory time from 4:30 to 5 p.m., during which flashing lights, music and other sensory distractions will be eliminated, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere for everyone.

Guests can also enjoy a variety of food trucks offering treats and meals for purchase, adding to the festive spirit of the evening.

"Trick or Treat at City Center is a true community effort," said Curtis Champion, Recreation Supervisor and event organizer for the City of North Port. "The creativity of our City departments and the dedication of our Pumpkin Trail Partners make this event a Halloween tradition that families look forward to year after year."
