UI, SCG, CNG Regulatory Affairs Leader Receives Award from Amity Chamber of Commerce

ORANGE, Conn. - September 21, 2026 - United Illuminating (UI), Connecticut Natural Gas (CNG), and Southern Connecticut Gas (SCG), subsidiaries of Avangrid, Inc., announced today that Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs Ted Novicki has been honored with the President's Award from the Amity Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented during the Chamber's Annual Meeting on September 17, recognizing Novicki's longstanding leadership, service, and commitment to strengthening the region's business community.

Novicki has been a member of the Amity Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since 2017 and served as board president since 2019. In this role, he helped expand member engagement, strengthen partnerships with local businesses, and support initiatives that promote economic growth across the region. His continued involvement reflects a deep commitment to the Chamber's mission of fostering economic growth and creating an environment where businesses and families work, live, and thrive.
