Aurorium Joins the Open Compute Project (OCP) as a Bronze Member

Aurorium has joined the Open Compute Project (OCP) as a Bronze Member, expanding its engagement with the global data center infrastructure community.

OCP brings together technology companies, data center operators, and suppliers to advance scalable, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure through open collaboration. Through its membership, Aurorium will engage in working groups focused on immersion and liquid cooling, where material performance, safety, and sustainability are central to industry adoption.

Supporting Innovation in Data Center Cooling

As computing density increases, thermal management within a smaller footprint remains a critical challenge for operators. Through its involvement in OCP, Aurorium will contribute materials science expertise to discussions shaping emerging standards, qualification frameworks, and validation approaches for next-generation cooling technologies.

"Joining the Open Compute Project allows Aurorium to engage more closely with the data center ecosystem and contribute to conversations shaping the future of cooling technologies," said Brad Miller, Product Marketing Manager at Aurorium. "OCP provides an important forum for collaboration as the industry works to address performance, efficiency, and sustainability challenges."

Collaboration Across the Open Compute Community

Participation in OCP enables Aurorium to stay aligned with evolving technical requirements while contributing to the evaluation and standardization of new cooling methodologies. Aurorium looks forward to working alongside the OCP community to help advance safe, scalable, and sustainable data center infrastructure.

Advancing Performance Through Partnership

Aurorium brings deep materials science expertise to industries where reliability, purity, and scalability are critical. Participation in OCP reflects a continued commitment to technical engagement and partnership as the data center ecosystem develops and validates next-generation cooling approaches.
