Palm Bay Recreation Seeks Players for Summer Adult Pickleball League at Ted Whitlock Community Center

The City of Palm Bay Recreation Department is inviting local pickleball players to register for their Summer Adult Pickleball League, beginning Wednesday, June 10, at the Ted Whitlock Community Center. Open to players ages 16 and older, the league welcomes men's, women's, and mixed teams of all skill levels.

League games will be held on Wednesday or Thursday evenings inside the air-conditioned Ted Whitlock Community Center, with game times scheduled between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Teams will consist of two to four players and will be placed into divisions based on skill level to encourage balanced and competitive play.

"Our Summer Pickleball League gives players a chance to stay active, have fun, and enjoy the game indoors while avoiding the summer heat and afternoon rain," said Andy Dimmig, Community Outreach Coordinator. "We welcome players of all skill levels and hope to create a fun, social, and competitive experience for the community."

Registration is open now, with space limited to 32 teams. The team registration fee is $50, with an additional $5 fee for each extra player beyond the initial roster. Interested participants must register by noon on Wednesday, June 3.
