December recap: Specialty Plate Spotlight

ADOT has more than 100 specialty license plates featuring a range of worthy causes or charities. To boost awareness, we showcase one specialty license plate each week on social media.

We call this the "Specialty Plate Spotlight" and here are the plates that were featured in November:

  • Ending Hunger: $17 goes to Hunger Relief Special Plate Fund, which will be used to fund organizations that provide food distribution to hungry people in Arizona. Recipient is the Association of Arizona Food Banks.
  • Conserving Wildlife: $17 of the fee will fund wildlife habitat projects, outdoor recreational and educational opportunities. Recipient is the Arizona Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation.
  • Girls Scouts: $17 goes to the Girl Scouts for enriching experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges and environmental stewardships. Recipient is the Girl Scouts, Arizona Cactus-Pine Council

Do you own one of these specialty plates? What are your reasons for purchasing the one you have? Join the conversation on social media by letting us know!

All specialty license plates can be viewed and purchased at azmvdnow.gov/plates.
