Heavybit Welcomes New Member: Mubit

"AI agents have the potential to reinvent software development, but lack important tools to make them performant on long-horizon tasks. Mubit is filling in a crucial gap by building procedural memory that provides the attribution and calibration that organizations need to scale agents in production. Heavybit is proud to back Anil and Shankha from day 0." -Amir Zohrenejad / Heavybit

Heavybit Welcomes New Member: Mubit

Heavybit is excited to welcome the agentic memory platform Mubit to our portfolio. Mubit tackles one of the biggest gaps in the modern agentic toolchain: Scalable memory that gives teams the ability to properly calibrate agents in production and correctly attribute any and all outcomes to their original agentic decisions.

AI agents were supposed to usher in a golden age of productivity for software developers by autonomously, and reliably, carrying out low-level technical tasks so that engineers could focus on the most important challenges.

The reality is that agents still frequently fail, requiring modern engineering teams to shift their focus from writing lines of code to babysitting unreliable agents that miss the mark for a variety of reasons.

Why We're Excited

As agentic software development continues to take shape, one of the most important steps in the journey to making agents performant on long horizons is memory. Today, even when agents succeed on their tasks, their default state is to not carry over their learnings, successes, or reasons for making correct decisions. The context window fills up with data from the last job, then empties out to zero for the next.

Mubit has designed a multi-step learning loop for agents that directly associates outcomes with memory identifiers and derives additional lessons for validation and promotion to retained memory for future jobs.

With the ability to attribute success to the unique decisions made by specific agents, teams can use Mubit to create lessons that become adapters that directly affect how their models will make future decisions, significantly increasing successful outcomes and ensuring that useful learnings compound.

In the future, Mubit will continue to enhance its platform and grow its team. Learn more by visiting the Mubit website.
