Sidewalk closures planned for construction of North Village Park
(COLUMBIA, MO) - Beginning Wednesday, July 1, the sidewalks and parking spaces will close on the perimeter of North Village Park. This includes areas along Orr Street, St. James Street, Ash Street and Park Avenue.
The closure is needed for the removal of the existing infrastructure and construction of new sidewalks and parking lanes on all four sides of the park. Work will include the installation of tree wells, porous paver parking spaces, concrete walkways, box culvert, stormwater inlets, concrete parking spaces and underground utilities.
Sidewalk access will safely reopen in phases, as construction allows. The project is slated for completion by December. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 573.874.7460.
