Heritage Trail starts at the Maidu Museum & Historic Site - June 1

Kick off a summer of learning at the Maidu Museum & Historic Site with free admission on June 1. In celebration of the start of Heritage Trail, the Museum will be free to all visitors only on June 7 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Stop by for fun hands on exhibits and activities. There will be a special scavenger hunt for kids. Take a walk along the historic site trail and enjoy the new trail signs.

For the rest of summer, the Maidu Museum & Historic Site will participate in Heritage Trail Get Up & Go cards. You earn a stamp every museum you visit during the summer (check open hours to help plan your visit). Once you fill your Get Up & Go card, drop it off to any participating museum to enter a raffle to win a prize at the end of summer. Get Up & Go cards and prizes for kids are also available.
