2026 Sounds of Lewisville concert season announced

The popular Sounds of Lewisville concert series, presented by Mosquito Joe, a free family favorite since 1991, returns this year with ten shows in Wayne Ferguson Plaza, during May, June, and July.

Concerts start at 7 p.m. every Tuesday night. Opening acts will perform 7-7:45 p.m.; headliners will perform 8-9:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for their comfort. Well-behaved pets on a leash are allowed at the shows. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The series kicks off May 5 with The 8Tracks, the 2025 People's Choice Award winner. Returning acts include Lover: An Eras Tour Experience (June 16), and Purple Day (June 23). New acts this year include Pride: In the Name of U2 (May 19), and Endless Summer - A Beach Boys tribute - (May 26).

There will be a bonus concert this year as the Taylor Pace Orchestra - performing the songs of Earth, Wind & Fire - will headline the special Juneteenth concert event on Friday, June 19.

The series concludes with Red, White & Lewisville on Wednesday, July 1, featuring headliner Texas Flood. This show will begin at 6:30 p.m. A drone show along with a low-level fireworks show will take place following this concert. The fireworks will be launched from the roof of the Lewisville Grand Theater in Old Town. There will be no concert on Tuesday, June 30.

To learn more, visit SoundsOfLewisville.com and follow Wayne Ferguson Plaza on Facebook.

The award-winning Wayne Ferguson Plaza is a 1.5-acre urban park that takes on a contemporary sweeping gesture using water to link east to west and united Lewisville City Hall and Lewisville Grand Theater. It features an elevated stage, a multi-level seating area, an interactive splash pad and a garden filled with swathes of native grasses and wildflowers.

To reach the concert site from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Charles streets, or at Lewisville City Hall.

This concert series supports the "Old Town" Big Move in the Lewisville 2025 vision plan. The full plan can be viewed online at cityoflewisville.com/lewisville2025.
