Northwest Bank matches employee gifts to SWCC Out of the Darkness efforts

Representatives from Northwest Bank in Creston came to SWCC yesterday to deliver a $250 check to be donated to the college's first-ever American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness Walk, held Thursday, April 23, 2026, on SWCC's Creston campus.

The Out of the Darkness Walk raised more than $8,000 for mental health and suicide prevention efforts.

After learning about the effort, Northwest Bank employees contributed monetary donations to give back to their local community, with Northwest matching those contributions to double the impact. Gifts were given to the Out of the Darkness Walk and other local charity events and projects.
