Register:https://www.givepulse.com/event/831605-escape-the-vape-at-hickory-ridge-middle-school
About the Event:
We will be partnering with Hickory Ridge Middle School for this special event. "Escape the Vape" is a district-wide initiative where we will educate students on the health risks, consequences, and immediate impact of vaping.
We will be stationed at a table during this event to educate middle school students on the health risks associated with vaping. This is a great opportunity to share evidence-based information on how vaping can harm the body and to encourage students to make healthy, drug-free choices.
Please review the document with the content that is on our poster board for the event. We will also have an activity where students will be given the opportunity to guess what is in a shoe box while closing their eyes. Each shoe box contains a material found in vapes. There will be descriptions on what each material is and how it is harmful to our bodies.
