Marin County - Caltrans is scheduled to close on- and off-ramps on Northbound and Southbound US-101 from Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 19 for the installation of permanent erosion control, paving activities, final signage placement, and pavement striping. This is part of the Manuel T. Freitas roundabout project in San Rafael.
The following ramps will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next mornings during that time period:
Additionally, the following ramps will be closed nightly during various days from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next mornings:
Caltrans opened the roundabout as well as the intersection of Civic Center Drive and Redwood Highway on the morning of Monday, June 8. The intersection had been closed since February to necessitate the construction of the roundabout, a new bus stop and northbound slip on-ramp.
