Delivering Historic Progress, Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont Expands Universal Child Care, Lowers Costs, Boosts Public Education, and Enacts Commonsense Gun Safety Reforms

Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont delivered historic progress this week for Connecticut, signing into law free school breakfasts for students, a ban on convertible and ghost guns, a major expansion of affordable child care, key investments in public education, and protections from the Trump administration's abuses.

These bills, all passed during the legislative session that ended yesterday, represent landmark achievements in making Connecticut more affordable, defending our democracy, and expanding opportunity in the Nutmeg State.
