Yusra Shao, M.D., medical oncologist and leader of the Cutaneous (Skin) Oncology Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos, explained the different types of skin cancer, how physicians measure the stage of melanoma, and the symptoms to not ignore, as around 25% of melanomas go unnoticed and have already spread by the time of diagnosis.
