Wake County Senior Games

The Wake County Senior Games are right around the corner, and volunteers are needed to help make this inspiring event a success.

Senior Games are Olympic-style sporting events held at the local, state, and national levels across the United States, engaging more than 100,000 participants ages 50 and older each year. The Games offer the camaraderie and excitement of friendly competition while promoting health, wellness, and active lifestyles for older adults. Participants are inspired to stay active, challenge themselves, and connect with others in their community.

The Wake County Senior Games would not be possible without the time, energy, and dedication of our incredible volunteers. Their support helps create a welcoming and encouraging environment for participants. Most importantly, volunteers help bring joy, motivation, and plenty of smiles to the athletes who compete.

Volunteer opportunities for the upcoming season are now available, and we would love your help. Visit www.wcseniorgames.com/volunteerto view the full list of opportunities available from March through May. Each event listing includes a brief description of the volunteer role along with dates, times, and locations.

All volunteers will receive a T-shirt, and snacks will be provided at each event. Volunteers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Please remember that a volunteer waiver must be completed and brought with you for each event.
