TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Overnight Alternating Lane Closures on I-495 Northbound and Southbound for Bridge Repairs
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) will alternate single lane closures on I-495 northbound and southbound between exit 5 (Route 13 - Philadelphia Pike/Claymont) and exit 4 (Edgemoor Road) to repair the Myrtle Avenue bridge over the highway.
Closures are expected to occur overnight from October 21 to October 22, 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.
Access to on/off-ramps will always be maintained. Motorists should use caution while traveling through work zones.
