Electrify Nevada Names Fall 2026 Cohort, Doubling Down on Las Vegas and Reno as Clean Energy Hubs

LAS VEGAS & RENO, Nev. - The Electrify Nevada Accelerator powered by gener8tor today announced the 11 startups selected for its Fall 2026 cohorts in Las Vegas and Reno.

The Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) initiated the accelerator, which is a partnership between the agency, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and global venture firm gener8tor to drive clean energy innovation and foster the growth of early-stage companies advancing electrification industries such as battery storage, sustainable infrastructure, artificial intelligence, semiconductor supply chain, smart resilient grids, and circular economy technologies.

"Our office continues to position the Electrify Nevada Accelerator as a driving force behind the roles that tech-based startups are playing in shaping Nevada's future in industrial electrification, including advanced energy technologies," said Karsten Heise, GOED's senior director of strategic programs and innovation. "With strong alignment across the state's industrial priorities, key federal initiatives, and leadership from UNLV, DRI, and UNR, Nevada is building a foundation for breakthrough innovation in these key technology areas by intentionally positioning the accelerator as an entrepreneurial baseline. We are focused on attracting founders who are not just building companies but driving new technologies and their applications forward. These founders have the vision to be part of a statewide mission to build a new Nevada economy based on entrepreneurial innovation and define the next generation of energy and electrification solutions here in Nevada, while contributing to the nation's long-term security and technological competitiveness."

As part of the cohorts, participating startups receive mentorship, investment opportunities, and access to an international network of investors, mentors, and corporate partners. By bridging together two innovation hubs (Las Vegas and Reno) the program is positioning Nevada as a national leader in clean energy commercialization and workforce development.

Reno-Tahoe Fall 2026 Cohort

ThreeV Technologies - Agentic AI for grid inspections. Multi-million large state contract. Backed by Looking Glass, Everywhere Ventures.

Optimotive - Autonomous robots for energy, mining, and construction. 8 robots in the field on RaaS. $4.7M raised, seed led by Version One.

AURA NGEN Technologies - Secure, automated PCB assembly for aerospace and defense. Reno-based, customer LOI and MOU signed.

QuietEdge - Power electronics and adaptive control for AI data centers. Reno-based, in the #4 US data center market.

Tavas Technologies - Energy management OS for the distributed grid. Ex-Tesla, $1.8M in signed LOIs.

Milestone - Marketplace connecting energy developers with financing. ~400 projects, 100+ financiers, $600K revenue pacing. Backed by Climate Capital.
