[BOISE, ID] - Attorney General Raúl Labrador has announced an update to a previous press release from November 18th, 2025. On Monday, November 25th, 2025, investigators with his Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested a Nampa man for alleged sexual exploitation of a child. Twenty-seven-year-old Juan Cardoza has now been charged with 10 counts of production of child sexual exploitation material after forensic investigators with the Attorney General's ICAC Unit uncovered new evidence in their investigation.

"These amended charges reflect the diligence of our forensic investigators but also the increased risk to the community with these new charges. I encourage parents to contact our investigators if they believe their child has had contact with the suspect," said Attorney General Labrador. "The hard work of ICAC and the critical partnerships we have across Idaho are delivering results when it comes to protecting children in our communities,"

The ICAC Unit was assisted by the Nampa Police Department, Caldwell Police Department, and Meridian Police Department.

Anyone with information regarding the exploitation of children is encouraged to contact local police, the Attorney General's ICAC Unit at 208-947-8700, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.

The Attorney General's ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.

Parents, educators, and law enforcement officials can find more information and helpful resources at the ICAC website, ICACIdaho.org.
