Citizens Bank & Trust Welcomes Austin Ainsworth to Board of Directors
GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. - Citizens Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Austin Ainsworth to its Board of Directors. Ainsworth officially joined the Board on August 20, 2026.

A Boaz native with a background in entrepreneurship, business development and land management, Ainsworth brings valuable business experience and strong North Alabama roots to the Board.

"Austin has an impressive business background and a strong connection to North Alabama," said Charlie Williams, CEO of Citizens Bank & Trust. "He understands our communities and brings an entrepreneurial perspective that will be truly valuable as we continue to grow. We are pleased to welcome him to our Board."

Ainsworth graduated from Boaz High School in 2005 and earned a degree in Finance from Auburn University in 2009. In 2016, he co-founded Industrial Equipment Rental and helped grow the company until its acquisition by Herc Rentals in 2024. He is currently a partner with Farm & Forest Brokers, specializing in recreational hunting properties and timberland. In 2020, he was recognized as one of the nation's Top 20 land agents.

Ainsworth also spent 10 years helping manage Dream Ranch and served for six years on Alabama's Conservation Advisory Board, further developing his experience in land management, wildlife and conservation. His experience extends well beyond those fields, with a strong understanding of business growth, investment and transaction structure across industries important to North Alabama's economy.

"As we look to the long-term future of Citizens Bank & Trust, it is important to have people on our Board who bring strong business experience and good judgment," said Mike Alred, Chairman of the Board. "Austin brings those qualities along with a perspective that will fit well with the experience already represented on our Board. We are pleased to welcome him and look forward to working with him."

Ainsworth and his wife, Ann Ever, live in Huntsville with their three sons, Walton, Noble and Teddy.
