Ohio State Lima walks for suicide awareness and prevention April 10

The sixth annual Ohio State Out of the Darkness Campus Walk, a powerful event dedicated to suicide awareness and prevention, will roll out at Ohio State Lima from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2025. The Lima campus community will walk simultaneously with all other participating Ohio State campuses for the second year in a row.

The Out of Darkness Campus Walk is a fundraiser for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, but there is no minimum fundraising requirement to participate.

Walkers can register for the challenge at go.osu.edu/CampusWalk.

In addition to raising awareness for suicide prevention and the friendly team competition, the walk will feature activities focused on hope and healing and information from community organizations.

The event will begin and end in the Cloyd Student Commons on the lower level of Galvin Hall with the actual walk taking place on the Quad.
