AUSTIN, Texas - September 2, 2026 - Sinclair's AMP Sports and CBS Austin (KEYE) today announced their participation in the 2026 Athletes First Tailgate Tour presented by Visit Las Vegas in Austin on Friday, September 11, ahead of the highly anticipated Ohio State at Texas matchup.
The Austin event marks the second stop of the Athletes First Tailgate Tour, which returns with its largest schedule to date, bringing the ultimate football fan experience to 12 of the biggest matchups and destinations across the country.
As the exclusive media partner of the Athletes First Tailgate Tour, AMP Sports will deliver live programming, fan engagement and original multiplatform content from the event, highlighted by live recordings of two of its college football video podcasts, The Script: A Podcast on the Ohio State Buckeyes and The Stampede: A Podcast on the Texas Longhorns.
The free event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. CT at Victory Lap, 504 W. 24th Street in Austin.

The Script hosts Ohio State National Championship quarterback Cardale Jones and Dave Holmes will bring their Ohio State perspective to Austin, while The Stampede hosts legendary Texas head coach Mack Brown, National Championship quarterback Vince Young and CBS Austin Sports Director Bob Ballou will represent the Longhorns side of one of college football's marquee early-season matchups.
Former NFL and University of Texas legends Colt McCoy and Jamaal Charles will join as a special guests.
The Athletes First Tailgate Tour brings together NFL and college football legends, premium hospitality, live content and interactive brand experiences. At the center of the event is the Athletes First 55-foot custom hauler, featuring a hospitality space, VIP lounge, podcast studio and live event stage.
The 2026 tour is presented by Visit Las Vegas. NHTSA, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, will serve as a season-long sponsor, promoting sober driving through an on-site pledge wall and impaired driving simulator, bringing its safe-driving message directly into the game-day experience.
