Marion County Community Services is proud to announce the approval of federal funding to help Logos Lodge, Inc., expand its transitional housing program that supports men and families recovering from addiction.
At the Oct. 21, county commission meeting, funding was approved for Logos Lodge to acquire and rehabilitate two single-family homes in Belleview located at 4560 and 4564 SE 120th St. Once complete, the homes will provide safe, supportive transitional housing for households earning up to 80% of the area median income.
The total project cost of approximately $1 million will be supported through:
Established in 2018, Logos Lodge, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping men rebuild their lives through a drug and alcohol regeneration program. The organization provides transitional support including housing, employment assistance, leadership development, family reunification, and financial literacy education. Logos Lodge also partners with other community organizations to deliver wraparound services, strengthening each client's ability to achieve lasting recovery and stability.
When completed, the project will allow Logos Lodge to serve two additional men and their families each year, advancing Marion County's ongoing efforts to expand affordable housing and recovery opportunities through strategic partnerships with local nonprofits.
