Miles for Moffitt Presented by AutoNation Celebrates 20 Years on Saturday

TAMPA, Fla. - Founded to fuel life-saving cancer research, Miles for Moffitt presented by AutoNation brings together runners, walkers, survivors, caregivers and supporters, all moving together for what matters. The event is Saturday, Nov. 22, at Benchmark International Arena.
Events include a 10K, 10K wheelchair, 5K run, 5K walk, 1K fun run/walk,and the Kids Dash with Captain Fear. This year, there will be a special anniversary 15K Challenge, inviting participants to complete the 10K and 5K back to back.
Last year, more than 10,000 peoplefilled Ford Thunder Alley at Benchmark International Arena or participated virtually inthe event, raisingmore than $1.2 million.
The funds raised help Moffitt Cancer Center researchers launch innovative projects, leading to groundbreaking discoveries in lifesaving cancer care. Over the years, the annual event has helped fund more than 70 pilot research projects.
Moffitt is looking forward to another big event with a fundraising goal of $1.7 million.
