Dexter: “I am fervently committed to protecting our children from another endless war.”

Congresswoman Maxine Dexter, M.D. (OR-03) released the following statement in response to Trump's unilateral decision to strike Iran.  

"The power to declare war lies solely with the United States Congress. President Trump's decision to launch direct military action against Iran without Congressional approval is unconstitutional and deeply reckless. As a mother, I am fervently committed to protecting our children from another endless war. The American people and our brave service members deserve answers, and I will demand the Trump administration provide them."
