Rep. Carl Gilliard, Georgia Dream Program to Host “Come Get Your Keys” Housing Fair in Garden City

ATLANTA - State Representative Carl Gilliard (D-Savannah), in partnership with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs' Georgia Dream Program, will host a "Come Get Your Keys" housing fair event to help individuals move from renting to owning their homes on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Empowerment Center in Garden City, Georgia.

Since 2016, Rep. Gilliard has partnered with the Georgia Dream Program and other lenders to help more than 300 individuals achieve homeownership. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from the Georgia Dream Program, as well as professional realtors.

Rep. Gilliard emphasizes that updated guidelines now include eligibility for FHA funding and conventional loans, further expanding avenues to homeownership for residents.
