Arrington Secures Record $90.8 Million for Dyess Air Force Base

Washington, D.C. - Today, House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) issued the following statement celebrating new funding secured for Dyess Air Force Base:

"After 43 days of the Schumer Shutdown, the people's government is up and running - and our first order of business was a big win for West Texas.

"Last night, we successfully passed into law $90.8 million for B-21-related construction projects at Dyess Air Force Base - the largest investment in Dyess history, more than triple last year's historic $30 million allocation.

"These funds will directly support the B-21's arrival and ensure Dyess remains the tip of the spear for America's air arsenal. I'm proud to have delivered this critical win for our airmen in the Big Country who deploy across the world to deter our enemies and defend our freedom." - Chairman Arrington.
