Annual City Paving Projects Continue June 1-5

Sections of streets will undergo various stages of resurfacing that will affect traffic flow in those areas. Specific streets affected, and for what work, are listed below. These jobs are part of the City's 2026 road paving projects and publicized weekly.

Projects happening from June 1-5

The following will involve alternate lanes or full road closures from 7 am to 6 pm.

  • Boeing Dr. from Regional Rd. to W. Market St. - Paving

  • Cessna Dr. from Regional Rd. to Gallimore Dairy Rd. - Paving

  • All of Friendship Dr. - Paving

  • Friendway Rd. from W. Market St to W. Friendly Ave. - Paving

  • Swing Rd. from W. Market St. to the end - Paving

  • All of Birchcrest Dr. - Raising structures

  • Glenhaven Dr. from Kindley St. to Floyd St. - Raising structures

  • Kirkman St. from Coliseum Blvd. to Floyd St. - Raising structures

  • Rath St. from Willora St. to Kirkman St. - Raising structures

  • All of Columbus Ct. - Milling and raising structures

  • All of Miami St. - Milling and raising structures

  • All of Savannah Ct. - Milling and raising structures

  • Savannah St. from Kersey St. to Garrett St. - Milling and raising structures

  • Martin St. from Medley St. to E. Bragg St. - Milling and raising structures

  • Martin St. from Douglas St. to Julian St. - Milling and raising structures

  • Omaha St. from Douglas St. to Ross Ave. - Milling and raising structures

  • E. Montcastle Dr. from S. Elm-Eugene St. to Bracken Lake Way - Milling and raising structures

  • All of Hyalyn Ct. - Milling and raising structures

  • All of Prestwood Ct. - Milling and raising structures

  • All of Zornbrook Dr. - Milling and raising structures

  • All of Charity Ct. - Milling

  • W. February 1 Pl. from S. Greene St. to S. Elm St. - Lowering structures

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid work areas, follow detour signs, and adhere to traffic flagger directions.
