Delayed: Mercer County U.S. Route 136 bridge deck replacement project to begin May 5

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Louis-Company, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, is scheduled to begin a bridge deck replacement project on the Mercer County U.S. Route 136 Grand River Overflow Bridge in Princeton. The project was scheduled to begin Monday, May 4 but has been delayed until Tuesday, May 5 due to contractor schedule changes.

Traffic Impacts: The bridge will be narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals in place. Motorists should expect delays. A 15-foot width restriction will be in place.

The project is scheduled to be completed in early October.
