DES MOINES, Iowa - Elevate Iowa, a program of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) Foundation, is now accepting applications for the Elevate Scholarship Program, which supports Iowa high school seniors pursuing education and training in advanced manufacturing at one of Iowa's 15 community colleges.
Each year, the Elevate Scholarship Program awards 15 $500 scholarships to students who plan to attend an Iowa community college in the fall, helping reduce the financial burden of postsecondary education and training. Students pursuing training in manufacturing-related fields such as welding, CNC machining, industrial automation, industrial maintenance, robotics, tool and die, and transportation and logistics are encouraged to apply.
In addition to supporting students, the program recognizes each participating community college and highlights the important role Iowa's community colleges play in developing a skilled manufacturing workforce across the state.
Applications for the Elevate Scholarship Program are now open and must be submitted by March 29. Students and families can find eligibility requirements, application details, and deadlines by visiting: https://www.iowaabi.org/elevate-iowa/
