Hungary is an island of peace for the time being, but we must be very cautious

Hungary is an island of peace for the time being, but we must be very cautious, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote on Friday on his Facebook account.

In his post, Mr Orbán reminded his followers that in the United States, a young man aged 31 had been assassinated. Charlie Kirk was a conservative family man who did not shy away from stating his opinion. "The globalist Left hated him for it," he added.

In continuation, he wrote: last year, five bullets were fired into the country's prime minister in the open air in Slovakia.

"Robert Fico never shied away from stating that he didn't agree with the global elite. They hate him for it," he wrote.

Recently, the favourite of the upcoming elections in the Czech Republic was attacked with crutches. For Andrej Babis, the Czech Republic always comes first. "His political opponents hate him for it," Mr Orbán wrote.

"Hungary is an island of peace for the time being. But we must be very cautious. Those who today shove journalists and fantasise about hanging them, or those who imitate an assassination on stage sow the seeds of the same policy of hatred which has led to tragedies in other countries," the Prime Minister stressed.

According to Mr Orbán's post, it is worth winning elections in order to build a better, more beautiful, stronger country, but you cannot do so out of revenge and with threats.

"Let there be peace, liberty and concord," the Prime Minister wrote.
