Rosie’s Vinton Invests in Community through Rosie’s Gives Back Program

Second Quarter contributions totaling $31,000 to support community causes including the Autism Society of Central Virginia, Local Office on Aging, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Ride-A-Rescue, Inc., Roanoke County Police Foundation, and Roanoke Valley Ballers

VINTON, Virginia (July 9, 2025)- In the second quarter of 2025, Rosie's Vinton contributed a total of $31,000 through its Rosie's Gives Back program to support trusted community partners serving veterans, public safety, child development and community medical needs.

Recipients of contributions include:

  • $5,000 to National D-Day Memorial, with the mission to ensure "Every Story Lives On", benefitting Veterans and their families, and educating the community and future generations.
  • $5,000 to the Autism Society of Central Virginia, a private day school and program for individuals with autism.
  • $5,000 to Local Office on Aging, providing meals to local seniors through the program Meals on Wheels.
  • $5,000 to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, leading the global charge to create a world free of MS. As a movement by and for people affected by MS, the Society brings together people of diverse backgrounds to turn their passion and power into real results.
  • $5,000 to Ride-A-Rescue, Inc., rescuing unwanted ponies, horses, and mules, and allowing members of the community to encounter these animals through pony rides, riding lessons, and learning outreaches.
  • $5,000 to Roanoke County Police Foundation, through the "COPS Camp" program (Challenging Opportunities for Police and Students), mentoring, leading, and educating students in the Roanoke County area.
  • $1,000 to Roanoke Valley Ballers, developing young local athletes, preparing them for middle and high school baseball.

Community nonprofit organizations can request financial, volunteer, in-kind, or other support through the Rosie's Gives Back program by submitting an online request form.

Rosie's Gaming Emporiums in Vinton and around the state contribute to local organizations and causes through the "Rosie's Gives Back" program which has made more than $5.4 million in direct donations and in-kind contributions, and donated thousands of hours of volunteer service. The program supports a range of nonprofits and causes around Virginia including groups providing services in education, workforce development, and support for veterans and law enforcement. The goal of the Rosie's Gives Back program is to meaningfully improve the quality of life in the communities where team members live and work. The company also partners with statewide programs for the broadest impact possible.
