Temporary Lane Closures Scheduled for Brownswood, River and Fickling Hill Roads on Johns Island

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. - Santee Cooper will be performing paving work requiring temporary intermittent lane closures on Johns Island on Brownswood Road and River Road beginning Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The closures will be near 950 Brownswood Road between Old Pond Road and Fickling Hill Road, and near 1444 River Road north of Murraywood Road.
The closures also include near 3320 Fickling Hill Road between Sassy Drive and Turtle Marsh Lane between 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Any traffic delays should be brief, and Santee Cooper will make every attempt to keep traffic disruption to a minimum. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, reduce speed when traveling through the area, and consider alternate routes, if possible, to avoid delays.
