Nestle Bridge Temporarily Close for Staining - September 11

Waverly's Rail Trail Bridge, located between 1st St NW and Cedar Lane, often called the Nestle Bridge, will be temporarily closed starting on Friday, September 11 at 8:00 a.m. for maintenance.
As part of the Waverly-Shell Rock Area United Way Day of Caring, City staff and volunteers will be staining the bridge to give it a fresh update.
The bridge will remain closed until Saturday, September 12 at Noon while the bridge stain dries. Trail users are asked to respect closure signs and barricades during this time.
